A Visitor’s Guide to Colorado Springs

The trip my family and I took to Colorado Springs was amazing! We live in Minneapolis so the flight was only 2 hours and the view from the plane was majestic. The mountains were majestic and we couldn’t wait to see them up close and personal. Once we landed, we have hired a limo in Colorado Springs. The Broadmoor is oneof the most famous resorts west of the Mississippi. The golf course at the Broadmoor is one of the nation’s top private courses and they have the LPGA tourney there some years. The rooms are pretty expensive and many of the nations elite will stay here during the summer months. Once we unloaded our bags, we had the Colorado Springs limousine service take us to the Garden of the Gods. This is Colorado Springs most famous toursit attraction and it is a great place to bring your camera. There are some really great rock formations that are amazing to look at and even better to photograph.

After we left the Garden of the Gods, the Colorado Springs limo company drove us to the base of Pike’s Peak. The train to the top can be pretty scary so be sure and bring your motion sickness pills. When you get to the peak, you will be stunned by the view and it’s even better if you go on a day with no clouds. It gets a lot colder at the top and you will notice the lack of oxygen.

Overall, our trip to Colorado Springs was very special and I would reccommend visiting this area to anyone planning a trip to Colorado. There is plenty to do, including skiing, fishing, hiking and much more!
