Where To Eat At Disney

Where to eat? My favorite park to dine in is Epcot, so let me begin with it. Each country pavilion has both a table service restaurant and a counter service restaurant. For table service places on the dining plan, I recommend Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion. For more international flair, I recommend Restaurant Marrakesh in the Moroccan Pavilion. Our family usually orders several different things and then eats family style here. However, my favorite dish is the tenderloin shish kebabs. Yum! On the Future World side of Epcot, I recommend the Coral Reef. It provides a great dining experience with the large aquariums and the food it excellent. Be sure to try the lobster soup.
As much as I like to eat at Epcot, my favorite Disney World restaurant is actually found at Hollywood Studios. Mama Melrose’s. I love the setting of this Italian restaurant and the food is out of this world! If you like cheesecake, be sure to try the hazelnut cheesecake for desert. My mouth just waters thinking about it! We also really like the buffet at Hollywood & Vine and do that in combination with the Fantasmic Dinner Package. It has a nice selection of meats, fish, and pasta for adults as well as a kids buffet.
The Magic Kingdom is another great park for dining. Here I recommend a character breakfast at Crystal Palace. My reason for this is that if you plan a seating time first thing in the morning, you can get into the parks before the crowds. This provides an amazing opportunity to take photographs on Main Street without all the crowds. Their earliest seating time at Crystal Palace is 8:05 am and I would do this on a morning that Magic Kingdom does not have morning Magic Hours.
The resort restaurants, some of the best restaurants Disney offers! A trip to Disney World isn’t complete unless we have a meal at Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The selection of different African food dishes is amazing. My mom, who usually travels to Disney with us, is a gourmet cook and at Boma’s they normally have chefs on hand to answer questions about the food. Watching her interact there makes me smile just like when I watch my kids on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. The only thing we have to be careful at with this restaurant is they use a lot of authentic African ingredients, including peanut oil and one of my boys is highly allergic to peanuts. If you have any special dietary things like that, be sure to mention it when making your dining reservations. Many restaurants will give you a phone number to talk with the chef before you arrive to make sure your eating experience is safe and enjoyable.
A couple of other resort restaurants the deserve a mention are Ohana at the Polynesian Resort and Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.
Sorry this tip is so long, but I really do love to eat at Disney World! Check out Disney restaurant tips my guide to learn all the details.
