There are but a few French ski resorts which cater for all levels of abilities, with Tignes falling into this category. In fact, when it comes to variety, apartments in Tignes can’t be beaten in the Northern region of the French Alps. The five villages that make up Tignes offer plenty to see and do for skiers and non skiers alike. Whether you’re traveling with a wild pack of friends or enjoying a peaceful vacation with family, there is a place for you in Tignes.

Les Boisses and Les Brevieres represent the lowest in terms of both elevation and pricing. In Los Boisses, bars and restaurants are generally regarded as low key and are located primarily within the village hotels. Les Brevieres is regarded as a livelier village, with a wider selection of bars and restaurants, however, its still much more family-friendly and cheaper than the villages in the higher elevations. Its numerous selection of bars and restaurants can become quite lively. This is regarded as a much more expensive place to stay, but it is something of a Nirvana for serious ski fanatics. Being near the glacier, Val Claret offers skiing all year round which is ideal for those whose main passion is skiing or snowboarding
